Baltimore City Tech Startup Organizes Social Media Recommendations For Home Improvement.
Local group becomes the 1st to integrate social media and home repairs!
December 13, 2018
Baltimore, MD: City Garage based EFynch.com is launching its redesigned home improvement software by pairing their
verified ratings system with social media recommendations.
We've all seen the "Does anyone know a ____?" in our Newsfeeds. Now, EFynch has created a process to get those recommendations without having to publicly post, while making certain that recommendations are non-biased and relevant for your specific job.
Homeowners post a job within their job board, as responses come in they can see verified rating and how a particular service provider ranks within their own social network. “If I like 2 of the bids and notice that one of my friends has recommended one, I can privately evaluate how I feel about the strength of that recommendation to make a choice," explains co-founder and CEO Sotereas Pantazes. "Our goal is to help homeowners organize their home improvement projects by utilizing the power of social media in a concise, organized manner instead of the multiple posts we see each day. I see a lot of issues with how things are now and as EFynch grows, this will fix it".
Online recommendations from social media has grown over the past few years, and it will continue to have a profound impact on small businesses here in the United States and around the world. Facebook has stated that 1.6 billion people are connected to a local small business, and 1 in 3 look use the platform to search for recommendations. “This is a missing link opportunity. Integrating Facebook recommendations with our very own rating system will give more comfort and information so that you can make a decisions with more confidence. We want to empower homeowners so they can take on projects like professional property managers” said Pantazes.
Lastly, Pantazes mentioned that “EFynch is currently looking at other social media platforms to integrate into EFynch. Facebook is only one of several we are targeting, and will make more announcements as we progress forward.”
EFynch was created in 2017, and has been an active member of Betamore at the City Garage location in Baltimore, Maryland and the local business & tech community.
